Pa's Adventure

Alright...for those of you who know Pa no explanation is needed. But for the rest of you - Pa likes to take the kids on random adventures. One morning he took Luke and Taija to this FUN center down the road. They all had fun, but it was geared more towards older kids. That afternoon he decided to take them to Antelope Island. Simply to see whatever they could see. All 3 of them had a BLAST! They roped cows and looked at the antelope (Taija lovingly refers to them as the cantaloupes) and ran around having fun. Pa decided that they needed to go back and rent a pantoon boat just for the heck of it. And so they did! They took Emily and Ryan too (no worries they had adult supervision - Kim went)!

Marshmallow Roast

One of our weekends was spent camping! My parents have an RV that is stored in their backyard. Anytime we were there Taija asked Grandpa to take her camping (which to her just meant hanging out in the camper outside). Considering we never go camping in Florida my parents decided my children needed to go camping at least one night. So, off we went. Luke and Taija LOVED everything about being in the mountains. We even stayed up a bit past bedtime to roast marshmallows and eat smores. Taija didn't enjoy eating her spoils, but like any other 3 yr old just liked roasting marshmallows in the fire. Thanks Auntie Tina and Unc for helpin! It was such a BLAST we ended up staying for 2 nights!

Robison Family Reunion 2012

We were so excited that we were in town when they held the Robison Family Reunion! And even more excited when we found out it would be up American Fork canyon! The drive there and back was absolutely breathtaking! It was fun to catch up with so much of Justin's family. We had lunch, did crafts (Taija and Luke both have a cool walking stick), and enjoyed the wonderful mountain air!

One of the highlights was an awesome zipline. Taija begged and begged Pa to let her go, so he hooked her up and took her to the ladder (I was sure at this point she was going to bail out) and off she went. She LOVED it. Luke even decided he wanted a turn and ended up going several times! Sadly at this point my camera batteries died!

I LOVE to see the temple

We were so excited to be able to go to the Salt Lake Temple with our friends the Nageli's. Alex is 6 months older than Taija, Hannah is two months older than Luke, and Baby Rebekah is 4 months younger than Mika. It was a great adventure (6 kids with 2 adults) taking TRAX downtown and wandering around temple square. I always forget how breathtaking the temple is...I LOVE going there with my kiddos!

Splashin'

While we were at Grammy and Pa's it seemed that playing in the water was a daily requirement. They have a slippin slide and a little pool.

We also met up with our friends the McKnights at a splash park. Oakley was born on the same day as Taija...

Call Family FUN

One of our favorite people to visit while we are in Utah is the Call Family! Danny and Justin have been friends since high school and Katie and I have been friends ever since we came across these two BFFs! It is great since our kids are all about the same age Claire (5), Sophie and Taija are 3 days apart, Luke and Johnny are 2 months apart, and their Luke and Mika are 2 months apart. Destiny will one day unite our families through marriage...that is if we have anything to say about it!

Luke and Taija LOVE driving the cars at Pa's house! They are so funny...Luke doesn't quite get the whole turning of the steering wheel, but enjoys pressing the 'gas' pedal all the same!

Greetings from UTAH!

For the past few weeks the kids and I have been in Utah! We have had so much fun hanging out with family, going to the zoo, visiting with friends, swimming and just playing! We still have 9 more days to go, but I figured I would post some pics of our adventures! First up was Hogle Zoo with my family! Grandpa couldn't make it, but Auntie Tina, Unc, Nana and some of the Luceros joined us!

We have split our time between Nana's house and Grammy and Pa's house...I am thinking Nana's puppies appreciate this! Poor Tank - he is such a good sport!
