Rehoboth Beach

We have been dying to go to the beach, but it seemed like every available day something came up.  Finally one Saturday in July we just went for it!  We packed up the kids once Mika woke up, which wasn't until after 9am, and started our trek.  3 HOURS later we made it!  Note to self - NEVER attempt the beach on a Saturday around here.  We had already been forewarned that it was very different from what we were used to in Florida.  It was PACKED.  I couldn't believe how many people were there.  It was still FUN and the kids were so excited to be at the beach.

The waves were a bit more ROUGH, but that didn't deter my kids.  They kept wanting Justin to take them out in the deep.  Luke was knocked over a few times, but laughed each time.

No beach trip is complete without Luke getting buried!  I am so glad we went and will just plan a bit better the next time!

Tractor Adventures

In our complex they are constantly building/expanding.  The kids have loved watching the trucks go by and see how BIG the building are getting.  One evening Justin decided to take them on an adventure to see the tractors.  They LOVED it.  There was also a small hill back behind it so they could throw rocks and climb up!

Since I got an iphone back in May I will be honest - TOTAL slacker on taking my camera places and getting pics.  I just snap them on my phone then forget to upload them on to the computer.  So, now that I have over 300 images on my phone I figured it was time to fix that!

One of the attendings at the Jefferson Hospital hosted a wonderful pool party for the incoming residents...we were the only ones there with kids and swimming!
