The Swim School of Delaware

After being out of swim lessons for almost a year I decided it was time to get back in to the swing of things.

Birthday - BIG 3-0

This year is a BIG year for me...I am now officially 30!!!  Justin actually had the day off this year so we got to celebrate!  It started off with Justin making muffins - assisted by the kids of course.  Then, Justin and the kids took me to Olive Garden for lunch - my favorite!  The kids did awesome being in a restaurant!  Following lunch Justin and the younger two headed home for naps while Taija and I went to see Frozen.  Luke and I had already gone on a date to see it so it was now a Mommy-Daughter date.  Taija LOVED it.  On the way home we picked up Chinese for dinner - also my favorite.  Justin and the kids made me an awesome cake, complete with a candle and singing.  Here's to another awesome year and the beginning of a NEW decade.

Taija's LOST tooth

During the entire month of December Taija would tell anyone who would listen about her loose tooth.  She was so proud of it!!!  And not only was ONE loose...she had TWO!  One evening while Pa and Grammy were in town we sent Taija and Pa to go pick up dinner.  Well, they came back with Taija holding a bloody napkin and her tooth.  Not to mention a little cup of ice cream the restaurant gave her for losing her tooth while there!  Taija was so excited for the tooth fairy to come that night.  She kept telling Luke ALL about how the tooth fairy would take her tooth and leave her a surprise.  Thankfully the tooth fairy did not forget ;)

And since losing her first tooth was so much FUN a few days later her second one came out too!  Sadly we lost her tooth before we could put it under her pillow that night, but we reassured her that she could write a note and the tooth fairy would still come.  The next morning Taija came in our room so upset because the tooth fairy took her note, but didn't leave ANYTHING.  After further investigation the bag of quarters had fallen on to Luke's bed.  That tooth fairy sure is clever - teaching Taija about money.  A $1 bill is the same as 4 quarters!

I can't believe my  baby girl is growing up and losing her teeth!  Taija is sure that some more of her teeth are lose too!

Pa and Grammy

More adventures from Pa and Grammy's visit...

Pa decided it would be a great idea to go to the park one afternoon - it was FREEZING!  But the kids loved it.  Except for Taija, she stayed in the car.

On another day we went to Arnold's FUN center again.  It was ok this time - they weren't staffed very well so we had to go in search of someone several times!

It finally snowed enough again so that we could play in it.

Thanks Pa and Grammy for ALL of the fun adventures.  The kids LOVE when people come visit!
