Pa comes to visit

Pa missed us so much (ok so it was mostly the kids he missed) that he decided to come visit at the end of July!  And as ALL Pa visits require we went on many ADVENTURES!

Pictures from BOWLING!  This was the first time Luke and Taija have ever been bowling...they LOVED it!

On another adventure we took a train to downtown Philly.  The older kids, Pa and Justin went on a Duck Tour through the city while Mika and I took a walk around Washington Square, walked past the Liberty Bell and enjoyed a quiet morning just the two of us.

Pa decided the kids needed a rocket launcher, a remote control car and an airplane that really flew.  While the airplane lasted all of a few minutes before crashing to the ground and breaking...the others were and still are a BLAST!

 We had to take Pa with us to the Oasis Family Fun Center.  It is a great place where the kids can climb and slide to their hearts content.

Kite flying...Taija LOVES to fly a kite and so while Pa was here she made sure to ask if we could buy a kite!
